I earned my BA from Calvary Theological Seminary and I am completing my MA in Clinical Christian Psychology  from Cornerstone University.

(Q) What should we be concerned about when choosing a minister?

(A) The concerns you should have is what are their beliefs? Where did they receive their credentials? And what is their academic background? If your faith is important to you then be cautious when choosing your minister online.

(Q) Is there a waiting period between the time we obtain our marriage license and the ceremony?

(A)   The State of Ohio no longer has a waiting period. Once you obtain your marriage license, you may celebrate your marriage immediately. However, you must solemnized your vows no longer than 60 days from the date the license is issued.

(Q) How early should we reserve our date and time?

(A) There are two priority's a couple needs to check off the list first; The officiant and the location. Flowers, caterers, music, cakes, etc. can be retained after. I suggest you book me at least six months to a year prior to your wedding. Especially for weddings on Saturdays during the months between May and September. You are taking a risk that I will not be available if you wait until the last minute.

(Q) Are we required to have two witnesses?

(Q) What is your position on divorce?

(A) I believe in the teachings of Jesus on the subject of divorce. However, I am not the judge nor the jury.

(Q) Do you have any age requirements?

(A) I will not solemnize the marriage of a minor even if they have their parents permission and produce a Ohio Marriage License. There are others out there who will. I am not one of them.
