When requesting a refund, please remember that the compensation to Rev. Den Fennessy, Ohio Wedding Ministries and Victory Family Care Ministries is not just for the time spent at your wedding. The services I provide also include information provided through the website, e-mail correspondence, phone conversations, office meetings, preparation of your ceremony draft, entering you into the data base, and reserving a date and time on the calendar, which often means I have had to turn down other couples for that time, which is unlikely to be replaced on short notice. Other business expenses include office rent, advertising, utilities, and website expenses. I also donate a substantial portion of the revenue to the church, Victory Family Care Ministries.
A 50% retainer of the total fee is required to hold a time slot on my wedding calendar. The balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the event. If your plans change, and you cancel, and you notify me in writing at least 30 days before the wedding date, a refund of all but the retainer will be mailed to you, during the first 10 days of the next month following your cancellation.
If your plans change and you need to postpone the wedding and are able to notify in writing 30 days in advance of the wedding date, you will be given full credit of any amount paid and it will be applied to the new date.
When a cancellation notice is received less than 30 days prior to the wedding, no refunds are paid.
Partial refunds may be provided and applied when there is a written request describing circumstances such as serious injury or death of a loved one. Catastrophic acts of nature, Flight cancellations due to weather, or other acts that would cause flight / train / auto issues and that would appear to justify a refund.
