Please keep in mind that these are examples. I have several more that I have created over the years. If you want something special, please let me know. My role as a Christian Minister is to speak God's plan for marriage to your heart and create a ceremony that you will treasure for a lifetime

Christian Ceremony Example One

This is the most simple ceremony I officiate. The ceremony is for couples who desire a short, private, intimate ceremony in our "Gathering Room" or at the location of your choice.

Opening Prayer

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Homily: "What is a Christian Marriage": By Rev. Fennessy, (Approx. 5 minutes) Mandatory for any Christian Marriage I solemnize.

The Wedding Vows:

You (Name of Bride) and you (Name of Groom) having come to me signifying your desire to be formally united in marriage, and being assured that no legal, moral, or religious barriers hinder this proper union, I command you to join your hands and give heed to the question now asked you.

(Name of Groom) In taking the woman whom you hold by the hands to be your lawful and wedded wife, I require you to promise to love and cherish her, to honor and sustain her, in sickness as in health, in poverty as in wealth, in the bad that may darken your days, in the good that may light your ways, and to be true to her in all things until death alone shall part you.

Do you so promise?

Groom:    I do.

You are no longer two but one. What therefore God has
